About this board game

Timeline: Events is a historical card game for 2-8 players that takes about 15 minutes to play. Using 55 cards, players arrange historical events in chronological order while trying to get rid of every card in their hand.

Each card shows a historical event on both sides, but the year appears on only one side. On your turn, choose a card from your hand and place it into the timeline on the table, positioning it according to when you think the event occurred.

After placing the card, reveal its date. If it is in the correct chronological position relative to all the other cards, it remains in the row. If not, the card is removed from play, and you draw another card from the deck.

The first player to correctly place all their cards wins. When multiple players have no cards at the end of the same round, all other players are eliminated from play, and each player who went out receives one more card for a bonus round.

If only one player has no cards after that bonus round, they win. Otherwise, play continues until a single player goes out. Released in 2011, Timeline: Events can also be combined with any other title in the Timeline series for additional play options.
