About this board game

Timeline: Music & Cinema is a 15-minute card game for 2–8 players in which you arrange historical events in chronological order.

The game uses 110 cards. Each card depicts a historical event on both sides, while the year of that event appears on only one side. Players begin with cards in hand and take turns adding one card to the chronological row on the table.

Choose where the card belongs based on the dates already revealed in the timeline, then turn it over to check your decision. If the event is positioned correctly in relation to every other card, it remains in the row. If not, the card is removed from play, and the player draws another card from the deck.

The objective is to get rid of all the cards in your hand by placing them correctly. The first player to do so wins, but simultaneous victories can lead to a bonus round: when multiple players go out in the same round, the other players are eliminated, and each player who went out receives one more card for another round.

If only one player has no cards after that bonus round, that player wins. Otherwise, play continues until a single player goes out. Timeline: Music & Cinema can also be combined with any other title in the Timeline series.
