About this board game
Timeline: Science Museum is a fast card game for 2–8 players, with each game taking about 15 minutes. Your goal is simple: be the first player to play all your cards correctly in a shared timeline.
Each card represents a scientific, technological or medical achievement from the Science Museum’s collection. As you take your turn, you must decide where your card belongs in relation to the cards already on the table. Was the Ford Model T invented before the Iron Lung ventilator? Did Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity come before or after the Wright Brothers’ first powered and sustained flight in an aircraft?
Those are the kinds of questions you will face in Timeline: Science Museum. Place a card in the correct position and continue building the timeline; get it wrong and the challenge becomes more difficult as you work toward playing your entire hand.
- 110 cards based on achievements from the Science Museum’s collection
- Scientific, technological and medical subjects from across the globe
- Designed to test your knowledge of the London Science Museum
- Compatible with cards from other Timeline editions
Approved by the museum, this edition offers a focused challenge built around landmark achievements. You can also combine it with two or more Timeline games featuring different themes to make the game even more challenging, creating a larger range of events to place and compare.
