About this board game

Time’s Up! Deluxe is a team-based party game for 4–18 players, with games lasting around 60 minutes. Players compete in teams, ideally with two people per team, to identify famous names across three rounds.

Each round uses the same set of names, but the way clues can be given changes. In the first round, clue-givers may use almost any kind of clue to help their teammates guess as many names as possible within 30 seconds.

The second round makes the challenge more focused: each clue may contain no more than one word, although sounds and gestures are unlimited. In the third round, speaking is no longer allowed, so players must rely entirely on gestures and nonverbal performance.

This tenth-anniversary edition brings together the best cards from the original set and its two expansions, for a total of 525 cards, along with a selection of new cards. A new electronic timer provides a handy way to manage each turn.

With its shared card set, changing clue restrictions, and team format, Time’s Up! Deluxe turns recognition and memory into a progressively trickier guessing contest. It also includes an optional fourth round for groups looking to extend the experience.
