About this board game

Time’s Up! Edición Amarilla is a Spanish-language party game for 4–12 players, with a playing time of 30 minutes. Teams compete to identify as many famous names as possible while one player gives clues to their teammates.

The game uses the same set of famous names in each of its three rounds. During every turn, one member of a team has 30 seconds to help teammates guess as many names as possible.

  1. Round 1: Almost any kind of clue is allowed.
  2. Round 2: Each clue may use no more than one word, while sounds and gestures remain unlimited.
  3. Round 3: No words are allowed at all.

Because the names return in every round, players encounter the same information under increasingly different clue restrictions. The changing rules challenge teams to communicate first with broad clues, then with a single word supported by sounds and gestures, and finally without words.

Designed for teams of two or more players, Time’s Up! Edición Amarilla centers on quick turns, shared recognition, and adapting clues to the rule of the current round. Its Spanish-language format makes it a distinct edition of the popular Time’s Up! game.

Released in 2008, this edition offers a structured three-stage party experience built around famous names and timed team guessing.
