Tiny Epic Defenders: The Dark War – Deluxe Edition is an expansion for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Released in 2018, this edition includes The Dark War expansion and the Kickstarter Deluxe Promo Pack.

Aughmoore lies in ruins, and darkness has spread across every region. New heroic characters, including the Lionkin Charioteer and Birdfolk Shadow Walker, join the struggle alongside new Epic Foes, Dire Enemies, and Artifacts.

The expansion’s centerpiece is an evolving Campaign Mode. Instead of facing the regular Epic Foe in every game, players progress through multiple plays and encounter Enemy Generals at key intervals. Their choices shape the threats and abilities available throughout the campaign, culminating in an Epic Foe if they survive long enough.

• Caravans: Rescue villagers from their shattered homes and escort them safely to the Capital City before the Epic Foe is defeated.
• Skills: Assign useful abilities to Heroes and activate them with Experience Points earned through meaningful decisions.
• Advanced Regions: Discover new threats and helpful abilities represented by 3D constructs such as a giant Tree, a rideable Manticore, and Sandstorms.

Each Advanced Region has a harmful dark side and a helpful light side. As the campaign develops, players work to restore these regions while rescuing Caravans, making both objectives essential to victory.

With difficult choices, changing challenges, and new ways to support the party, Tiny Epic Defenders: The Dark War expands the Chronicles of Aughmoore with a dangerous campaign of survival, restoration, and heroism.
