About this board game

Trash Poker is a competitive deck-destruction game for 1–4 players, with a play time of about 90 minutes. Inspired by the video game Balatro, it combines poker hands with card removal, deck building, and strategic upgrades.

Everyone begins with a standard poker deck and competes to play the best hand. Over the course of 8 poker hands, you decide which cards to keep and which to trash, gradually shaping your deck around the results you want to pursue. You can also add special cards and upgrade your stats during the game.

Winning poker hands earns you Chips, but that is not the only way to score. Certain cards in your deck or trash can also provide Chips at the end of the game, making the cards you remove part of your overall strategy. When the eighth hand is complete, the player with the most Chips wins.
