Trial of The Gods

About this board game

Trial of the Gods is a competitive Ancient Greek adventure game for 2–4 players, with an approximately 105-minute playing time. Over five days, each player guides an Argonaut Captain across the islands of the Aegean Sea in search of the Golden Fleece.

Build your deck to manage your actions, gain the favor of the Gods, and call upon their incredible power. As your Captain travels through the archipelago, dangerous seas, mythological monsters, and rival Argonauts stand between you and victory.

Every game challenges you to prove that your hero is the bravest of all. Your strategy can focus on exploring islands, overcoming monsters, developing a valuable card deck, or excelling in the Olympic challenges.

• Exploration: explore the archipelago and discover as many parts of the Golden Fleece as possible.
• Domination: defeat the Monsters infesting the islands.
• Devotion: build the most valuable deck of cards.
• Olympics: obtain the most Champion Tokens during the games.

Recruit your Argonauts and choose the path that best suits your plans. The five rounds give you time to pursue glory across the islands while competing with the other Captains for the favor of the Gods.

At the end of the final round, players’ positions in the four Rankings are determined. Each position awards Victory Points, and the Captain with the most Victory Points wins. In Trial of the Gods, Olympus awaits the hero who can turn exploration, domination, devotion, and Olympic success into triumph.
