About this expansion

Trickerion: Dahlgaard’s Gifts is an addon pack for 2–4 players, designed for games lasting about 120 minutes and originally released in 2015. It expands the world of rival stage illusionists competing for fortune and fame under the watch of a legendary magician.

The Magician Powers variant gives Trickerion Shards a new gameplay role. Shards unlock Power Card slots, allowing each Magician to learn abilities that customize their play. With 90 different Power cards available, this module introduces many possible strategies and adds further replayability.

For two-player games, Duel of the Magicians adds turn setup cards that change the available spots from turn to turn. Special Performance cards featuring neutral Trick Markers also make Linking easier in two-player games, creating a more varied and tense head-to-head experience.

Dahlgaard’s Gifts also includes additional components and cards to expand the game’s content:

• 25 additional Trickerion Shards and a large acrylic Trickerion Stone turn marker
• 8 additional Special Assignment cards, with 2 for each Location
• 4 Magician Meeples that replace the wooden cylinders on the Initiative Order track

Whether you want to customize your illusionist with new abilities or add variety to a two-player contest, Trickerion: Dahlgaard’s Gifts offers two distinct modules alongside useful new game materials. Together, they provide fresh ways to approach the competition surrounding the legendary Trickerion Stone.
