About this board game
Trick’n Trouble: Fangt Doc Crazy! is a cooperative trick-taking-style card game for exactly 3 players, with a playing time of about 30 minutes. Together, you take on the role of wise owls serving the witch Minuit, venturing into the night to gather the resources she demands.
Five Otsukai cards, meaning “Order,” are revealed during play. Your team’s goal is to claim orders worth victory points, beginning with a target of 25 points. Across 9 rounds, the players must coordinate their card plays and add up the results to collect as many valuable cards as possible.
Each round follows familiar trick-taking principles. One player becomes the lead player and plays first. The other players must follow the suit led whenever they can; if they do not have that suit, they may play any suit.
The cards you play are evaluated by suit. For example, playing blue 6, blue 3, and red 4 produces a blue total of 9 and a red total of 4. With these combined numbers, the team can claim all cards below the relevant sum, turning careful cooperation into victory points.
