Triumph of Chaos v.2 (Deluxe Edition) is a two-player card-driven strategic board wargame with an approximately 600-minute playing time, covering the Russian Civil War from 1918 to 1921.

One player commands the RED Communist Forces, while the other leads the WHITE reactionary forces. The conflict unfolds across a vast map of Russia, involving Russian republics, anarchist and independence movements, adherents of the old regime, foreign volunteers, and intervention by the Major Powers.

Each turn is divided into three phases. During the Political Phase, players compete to influence factions; in the Action Phase, they alternate playing cards to move, fight, trigger events, and build their armies. The Logistics Phase handles replacements and additional game systems that shape the struggle.

• Faction politics: The Socialist Revolutionaries begin in a buffer position in the east and may shift toward either side through political and action cards.
• Unreliable leaders: Certain leaders can enter alternative states, making command less predictable.
• Expanded eastern front: Japan, Far-East warlords, red partisans, and the Trans-Siberian railroad to Vladivostok join the story.
• Streamlined systems: Artillery, tanks, and air function as combat-modifying assets, while Resource Centers govern where replacements can be used.

The Deluxe Edition expands the original game with a map enlarged by 40%, redesigned cards, larger counters, improved play aids, and revised faction rules. Its 44-by-34-inch double-sided map, 220 cards, approximately 400 military units, more than 40 leaders, and additional markers support a detailed campaign of shifting front lines and competing political forces.
