About this board game

Underlings of Underwing is a dragon-hatching strategy game for 1–6 players, with a play time of about 60 minutes. Set during the Great Hatching, it challenges daring tamers to capture and train wondrous winged beasts.

Once every century, the dragons of Underwing return to their ancient brooding grounds. Whelps, drakes, wyverns, and wyrms fill the skies while players compete to become the next great Dragonlord.

To hatch a horde of dragons, players strategically place gemstones within nesting sites. Each egg thrives in the presence of different colored Elements, so careful planning is essential when deciding where to place resources and how to pursue the dragons that will bring the greatest rewards.

Players must also make the most of their dragon handler underlings. These helpers can stake claim, add gemstones, and fetch more resources, giving tamers valuable ways to develop their plans during the Great Hatching.
