Unmatched: Battle of Legends, Volume One is a highly asymmetrical miniature fighting game for two or four players, with battles lasting about 40 minutes. Each hero uses a unique deck designed to evoke their style and legend, creating distinctive matchups that reward tactical expertise.

Choose from four legendary fighters: King Arthur, Alice, Medusa, and Sinbad. Arthur can sacrifice cards to strengthen his attacks, while Merlin provides timely magical assistance. Alice shifts between growing and shrinking to gain advantages on attack and defense, supported by the Jabberwock. Medusa attacks from range with the help of her harpies, and her devastating glance can quickly end a battle. Sinbad becomes more powerful as he gains experience from each voyage.

Combat is resolved quickly by comparing attack and defense cards, but every card can introduce a new decision. A simple yet deep timing system gives effects room to shape the fight, while tactical movement and an updated line-of-sight system support ranged attacks and area effects.
