Urban Sketchers

About this board game

Urban Sketchers is a mid-weight eurogame for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Players become artists traveling the world to sketch iconic urban scenes, manage resources, and compete for prestige by publishing reports.

Each artist aims to create reports that can be published for money and prestige. Earning more money makes it possible to afford further travel and obtain the resources needed to continue publishing sketch reports. The player with the most prestige points wins.

Every round begins with a shared dice roll. Players take turns choosing one die to perform an action, then continue until each player has selected two dice. The first player is passed around the table clockwise before another roll is made.

The game continues for an unspecified number of rounds, ending when a certain number of reports have been published. That number depends on the player count, so every session builds toward a shared publishing milestone.
