Uruk II: Die Entwicklung geht weiter is a civilization-themed board game for 2–5 players, with games taking around 30 minutes. Set in Mesopotamia in 4000 BC, it invites players to develop their own people during the rise of the first advanced human civilization.

Each player guides a civilization through five epochs, seeking achievements while establishing villages and towns. The setting draws on the history of the Sumerian people, known as the cradle of human civilization and among the first to develop writing.

Uruk II is the newest addition to the Uruk family. It is based on the rules of Uruk – Cradle of Civilization, while adding numerous enhancements intended to create a new gaming experience. The game also features a completely redesigned visual presentation and abundant individual wooden pieces.
