About this board game

Valencia is a revised reimplementation of Strasbourg for 2–5 players, with a playing time of 90 minutes and a 2025 release. It retains the streamlined gameplay of its predecessor while introducing new content and a refreshed presentation.

A modular gameboard allows for variable setup, giving each game a flexible starting arrangement. Valencia also includes a newly developed two-player variant, expanding the game for smaller groups while preserving its streamlined approach.

The round structure has been updated, and the game adds 10 new task cards. These changes give Valencia a revised framework alongside the familiar foundation retained from Strasbourg.

The visual identity has been completely renewed with artwork by The Mico. Five new edifices have also been introduced, taking the form of fountains that suit Valencia’s setting.

It is a revised board game experience for groups of two to five players, combining the streamlined gameplay of Strasbourg with new rules, content, and artwork.
