About this board game
Victoria Cross II: Battle of Isandlwana & Rorke’s Drift is a 1–2-player board game with an approximately 120-minute playing time, covering two battles: Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift.
This reprint builds on Victoria Cross: The Battle of Rorke’s Drift, the first game produced by Worthington Games. It includes the original Rorke’s Drift game alongside the battle of Isandlwana, bringing both scenarios together in one title.
As the British player, your task is to stem the hordes of Zulu warriors with the trusty Martini-Henry rifle—and a bit of guts behind it. As the Zulu player, you must use mass and guile to drive the British from their land.
The updated edition refreshes the original presentation while retaining the system that started it all for Worthington Games. Updated counters, updated rules, and a new box are included.
- Includes the battles of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift
- Supports 1–2 players
- Features updated counters and rules
- Uses the Victoria Cross: The Battle of Rorke’s Drift system
With two sides pursuing very different paths to victory, every game asks you to decide how best to meet the challenge. Will British firepower and determination hold back the Zulu advance, or can Zulu mass and guile overcome the defense? Victoria Cross II presents both battles in a focused game of resistance, pressure, and bold decisions.
