About this expansion

Viscounts of the West Kingdom: Keeper of Keys is an expansion for 1–4 players, with a play time of about 90 minutes. Released in 2022, it adds new ways to shape the struggle unfolding in the King’s court.

Tensions continue to rise as officials choose different paths. Some plot in secret and forge alliances with like-minded figures, while others search for treasures and secrets hidden deep within the castle walls. The expansion invites players to consider whether they will remain loyal to the very end or take their future into their own hands.

At the center of the new content are three public Buildings, which players compete over. The expansion also introduces thick Player Boards and the new Chest Tiles, adding fresh elements to the game’s components.
