VivaJava: The Coffee Game: The Dice Game: Game of the Year Expansion

About this expansion

VivaJava: The Coffee Game: The Dice Game: Game of the Year Expansion is a set of two expansions for 1–4 players, designed for games lasting around 30 minutes. Originally available to backers through Kickstarter, it combines the Anger Expansion with the Dice Hate Me Signature Series.

The Anger Expansion changes the tone of the base game with sneaky moves, game-changing abilities, and “take that” mechanics. Its 11 new abilities can be added individually to the WILD Coaster, letting players customize the experience with different combinations of effects.

For a quicker mix of new abilities, the included Anger Management Disc and Anger Coaster can be used together. One ability requires a set of four Angry Dice, which was originally included with this package.

• 11 Anger abilities for more direct player interaction
• An Anger Management Disc and Anger Coaster for quick combinations
• Five Dice Hate Me Signature Series ability discs and Coaster combinations

The Dice Hate Me Signature Series adds an elegant set of miniature games that can be combined with the base VivaJava Dice game and used alongside the Anger Expansion. Each ability disc and Coaster combination is added to the WILD Coaster.

The five represented Dice Hate Me titles are Brew Crafters, Compounded, Belle of the Ball, Carnival, and The Great Heartland Hauling Co. Their Coasters take thematic and mechanical cues from those games, while offering meaningful alternate ways to score points and move toward victory. VivaJava: The Coffee Game: The Dice Game: Game of the Year Expansion therefore supports both wilder interaction and more varied strategic progression.
