About this board game

Volfyirion is a fast-paced deck-building card game for 1–2 players, with games lasting around 30 minutes. Set in the world of Mysthea sixty years before the events of the main game, it challenges players to destroy all of their opponent’s cities.

Every decision contributes to the struggle for control. Build and deploy your army, manipulate Qoam, and use your resources to press the attack against your rival. Your forces and Qoam manipulation are dependable tools, but they are not the only path to victory.

The game’s most dramatic possibility is Volfyirion the Dragon. You can attempt to tame and control this dreadful beast, turning its destructive power toward the battlefield on your behalf. However, your opponent may pursue the same goal, creating an additional contest for influence and opportunity.

• Deck building: Develop the cards and capabilities you need during the game.
• City destruction: Work toward eliminating all of your opponent’s cities.
• Army and Qoam: Rely on military strength and Qoam manipulation to advance your strategy.
• Dragon control: Try to command Volfyirion and unleash its power before your opponent does.

With its direct objective and competing routes to power, Volfyirion delivers a focused confrontation between rival players. It is part of the Volfyirion Card Game Series and was released in 2019.
