About this board game
Vroom is a cooperative racing game for 3–6 players that plays in about 15 minutes. Players race cars around a made-up circuit without a board or reference points, relying on judgment to evaluate each movement.
Each round, draw a Speed card and move your car according to its value. The cards range from 1 to 7, but their changing values make consistent movement difficult. Since there are no tiles or board markings to guide you, the movement of your car is the only clue to the card you drew.
The race unfolds over five rounds. At the end of the fifth round, all players must be ordered according to the combined value of the five Speed cards they drew. Success depends on evaluating distance, managing uncertainty, and working together to achieve the correct finishing order.
- Cooperative racing: work toward a shared result rather than competing entirely alone.
- Boardless movement: estimate your car’s travel without a board or fixed reference points.
- Five-round challenge: use the total of your Speed cards to determine the final order.
- Optional modules: add events such as jump stunts, landslides, and weather.
Once you are familiar with the core challenge, optional events and modules can shake up your strategies. These additions bring new complications to the unusual task of judging speed and positioning, while keeping the focus on the distinctive, board-free racing system.
Released in 2026, Vroom offers a compact cooperative experience built around estimation, unpredictable card values, and a shared race outcome.
