Vs System 2PCG: The Defenders is a superhero card game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Choose a main character, build a deck of exactly sixty cards, and battle to stun your opponent’s main character.

This set brings the loosely affiliated Marvel superhero non-team known as The Defenders face to face with Underworld. The first Vs System 2PCG set features characters from the Marvel Universe, with future sets potentially adding other intellectual properties.

Although Vs System 2PCG may look similar to the original Vs. System collectible card game, it is a completely rebuilt game that takes only some inspiration from its predecessor. Combat has been streamlined, the turn structure is different, and the resource system has been revamped.

Vs System 2PCG is also no longer collectible. Cards are released in a non-random format, so a single box contains a full play-set of all cards. This gives the game a straightforward way to access its complete set of available cards while setting it apart from the original collectible card game.
