Wandering Towers: Mini Spell Expansion 1 is a 2023 expansion for 2–6 players that adds two new spells to the game: Retrieve A Card and Movement Swap.

These spells offer fresh ways to use cards and alter movement. Each one introduces a distinct effect that can change how your played cards work during the game.

• Retrieve A Card: Take the top card from the discard pile, including the card you just played. After using this spell, you do not draw to refill your hand to three cards at the end of your turn until you have fewer than three cards.
• Movement Swap: Switch the movement values on the movement card you play. A card that can move either a tower or a wizard swaps those movement values. A card that moves only a tower moves a wizard instead, while a card that moves only a wizard moves a tower.

Retrieve A Card is the same spell as the previously released Re-Use A Card. It allows a card from the discard pile to return to your options, even when that card is the one you have just played.

Movement Swap changes the target of movement according to the card’s available movement. This creates a clear transformation for cards that normally move only one type of piece, while cards that can move either a tower or a wizard exchange their movement values.

With two focused spell effects, Wandering Towers: Mini Spell Expansion 1 gives players additional card and movement options without adding extra game systems. It is a compact expansion centered on retrieving a discarded card and redirecting movement between towers and wizards.
