Warangel

About this board game

Warangel is a light fantasy wargame for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Created and illustrated by Angelo Porazzi, it features 120 warrior races and was first released in Italy in 1996 as a collectible game.

The first boxed edition followed in 2000. Since then, Warangel has reached thousands of gamers, primarily in Italy as well as in many other countries around the world. Its history includes awards at four Italian fairs, including Best Italian BoardGame at Ludex 2000 in Bologna and Best Italian Game at LuccaGames 2000.

A distinctive feature is the opportunity to create a customized copy. Gamers can request favourite races from any generation, have them mounted on painted wooden blocks, and select maps that illustrate real sectors of Earth.
