Warfighter: WWII Expansion #46 – Maquis

About this expansion

Warfighter: WWII Expansion #46 – Maquis is a 2019 expansion for 1–6 players, with a playing time of about 90 minutes. It adds French Resistance fighters and new content to Warfighter WWII Europe Missions.

Set against the German occupation of France following the blitzkrieg of May 1940, this expansion brings the Maquis into the shadow war. These civilian resistance fighters—bakers, bankers, teachers, housewives, and others—organized under the Croix de Lorraine despite having less training and equipment than regular forces.

The Maquis carried out a wide range of dangerous activities. They printed and distributed underground propaganda, sabotaged enemy networks, helped Allied pilots who had crashed behind enemy lines, and sent valuable intelligence to the British. Their resistance continued until France was liberated in December 1944.

Warfighter: WWII Expansion #46 – Maquis reflects these methods through guerilla-focused content, including stealthy movement, scrounged weapons and gear, and unconventional objectives. The expansion is designed as a Soldier pack for Warfighter WWII Europe Missions.

• 7 player Soldiers representing the French Resistance
• 6 non-player Soldiers and 5 Squad Soldiers
• 9 Weapons, 2 Equipments, and 8 Skills
• 3 Service Records, 8 Missions, and 8 Objectives

With 56 cards in total, Maquis expands the World War II European setting with resistance personnel, missions, and equipment shaped by an improvised and covert fight. It offers a focused addition for players seeking French Resistance-themed content in Warfighter WWII Europe Missions.
