Wayward Board Game is a choose-your-own-adventure-style game for 1–6 players, with a playing time of about 60 minutes. Race to collect the most gold before the guards sound the alarm and try to trap you in the dungeon forever.

Gold can be collected in many different ways, and every route brings its own risks. You might battle in the fighting pit, steal from the king’s treasure room, dig up graves, or fight your way through a bar brawl. The rewards can be great, but your choices can also lead to losses.

Items you pick up provide valuable advantages as you explore. They can help you push past guards, pass through hazards, open locked doors, and increase your luck when collecting treasure. Choosing when and where to take a risk is central to finding a successful path through the dungeon.
