Hospitals are filling with patients, resources are limited, and every decision matters. The team must use what it has wisely while trying to treat everyone in need. Alongside the spreading disease, players must contend with the constant stress of the job and the danger of suffering a mental breakdown.

Health is another ever-present concern. Healthcare professionals risk contracting the illness themselves as they continue their work, making the struggle both personal and shared. Success depends on the group managing the crisis together and supporting the effort against the epidemic.
