About this board game
Wherewolf is a 60-minute mystery, deduction, and communication game for 6–33 players, set in a peaceful Balkan village threatened by werewolves. Players take on hidden roles and work to determine which villagers are secretly part of the deadly pack.
The game unfolds across alternating days and nights. During the day, the villagers gather to discuss what they know, assess the behavior of others, and decide whom to burn at the stake. Their shared judgment is the village’s best hope of identifying the werewolves.
When night falls, the werewolves choose a victim to devour. Meanwhile, the Seer probes the souls of the villagers, hoping to discover their true nature. The tension grows as information, suspicion, and persuasion shape every decision.
The struggle continues until one side is completely eliminated. Will the villagers expose the hidden threat, or will the werewolves consume the village night after night? A Moderator guides the game, leads the proceedings, and keeps the alternating phases moving.
