About this board game

Wicked & Wise is a trick-taking game for 2–6 players that plays in about 60 minutes. Across three rounds, dragons and their mouse allies compete over tricks, treasures, and coins.

In this contest, players take on one of two roles. Some players are dragons competing in the trick-taking game, while others are mice allied with a particular dragon. These mice help manipulate the course of the game as their chosen side fights for control.

Winning tricks is only part of the challenge. Goals shape the competition, giving each side another way to pursue an advantage. Players must work toward their own goals while looking for opportunities to sabotage the goals of the opposing team.

Magical treasures add another important element to the struggle. Using these treasures effectively can help players influence the outcome of the trick-taking game and improve their chances of collecting coins.

Each round brings another fight over the rewards hidden within the competition. To succeed in Wicked & Wise, players need to balance trick-taking with goal setting, disruption, and the clever use of treasures.

When the three rounds are over, the team with the most coins wins and is crowned king of the caves. Whether you are directing a dragon’s contest or aiding one as a mouse, the game rewards careful planning and timely interference.
