About this expansion

Wing Leader: Eagles 1943-45 is a two-player expansion for Wing Leader: Supremacy 1943-1945, with games lasting around 180 minutes. It brings the major air combats of the late war to the tabletop through new aircraft, challenging scenarios, and a dedicated campaign.

A copy of Wing Leader: Supremacy 1943-1945 is required to play. Eagles expands the system with aircraft and engagements drawn from several late-war theaters, giving players new forces and situations to command.

• Fly Hs 129 tank busters against Soviet armored spearheads.
• Lead Ki-45 bomber-killers against B-29s over mainland Japan.
• Direct Coastal Command Mosquitos in attacks on Luftwaffe airfields in Norway.
• Launch Me 163 rocket fighters against formations of B-17s.

The expansion adds the German Me 210 and He 177, Soviet Yak-3, Yak-9U, and La-7 fighters, and Japanese Ki-44 and Ki-100 fighters. It also introduces key late-war Swedish aircraft, including the J 22, B 17, and B 18, plus counters for Finnish and Hungarian fighters.

At the heart of Wing Leader: Eagles is a new campaign recreating the 5th Air Force campaign against Rabaul in late 1943. Using its own 11 × 17-inch campaign map, American and Japanese players face difficult decisions about targeting, force planning, and raid execution as they prepare for the invasion of Bougainville.

With its broad selection of late-war aircraft and varied historical scenarios, Eagles offers a substantial new chapter for players already exploring the Wing Leader system.
