Wings of Glory: WW1 Special Packs

About this expansion

Wings of Glory: WW1 Special Packs is a 2012 expansion for 2–99 players, with a listed play time of 45 minutes, adding extra-large World War I bomber models to the Wings of Glory system.

The collection features two separate special packs: one for the Caproni CA.3 and one for the Gotha G.V. Each pack includes one painted and assembled 1/144 model, allowing players to add a distinctive WW1 bomber to their games. Both aircraft are available in two different color schemes.

Every pack contains the components needed to use its aircraft, including:

• One painted and assembled 1/144 airplane model
• A flight stand
• The maneuver cards related to that airplane
• A special rules leaflet
• A plane console
• The counters required to play with the model

The included special rules expand the game for these WW1 bombers, while the maneuver cards and plane console provide the aircraft-specific materials required for play. The products are designed to work with Wings of War as well as Wings of Glory.

Wings of Glory: WW1 Special Packs is fully compatible with Wings of War, using the same scale, base fittings, and pegs. Wings of War players can add these models and their rules without compatibility issues.

The products reimplement elements associated with Wings of War: Flight of the Giants, Wings of War: Deluxe Set, and Wings of War: Miniatures. They are also listed alongside Wings of Glory: WW2 Starter Set as a related title.
