About this board game

Wisdom of Solomon is a 1–5 player worker placement game with a 75-minute play time, set during the reign of King Solomon in Israel’s golden age.

As a Governor, you send workers to gather Resources, construct buildings, expand your influence, and earn the Favor needed to win. The game combines a map of Solomon’s kingdom with a miniaturized city of Jerusalem, giving your workers a range of important tasks.

On the kingdom map, Governors build custom houses and roads. As your network grows, it reaches more areas and draws Resources from them, making the placement and development of your network central to the flow of the game.

In Jerusalem, workers visit the Market to buy, sell, and trade Resources. They can also play powerful Fortune cards acquired during the game. At the Foreman, Governors use their Resources to build new structures throughout Israel, creating houses of influence while unlocking new ways to gain Resources and Favor.

• Build and expand: Develop custom houses, roads, and structures across Solomon’s kingdom.
• Manage Resources: Use your growing network and the Market to control the movement and exchange of goods.
• Support the Temple: Send workers to the Levites and donate Resources toward the Temple of Solomon for Favor and Fortune.
• Visit the Holy Places: Groups of workers can seek rewards beside the Temple.

Wisdom of Solomon ends when a Governor has no Custom House left to build or the Temple of Solomon is complete. After the round ends, players reveal their Temple Tokens, tally their final scores, and the Governor with the most Favor wins.
