About this board game

WitchDraft is a card game for 2–5 players that takes about 10 minutes, inviting young witches to compete in the art of potion-making.

Across two rounds, each player secretly draws a recipe and an ingredients scoring card. These hidden goals determine how collected ingredients contribute to the final brew points, making every drafting decision important.

• Draft ingredient cards and pass the rest to the player on your left.
• Build an open card display by choosing each card’s position and rotation.
• Score your completed collection according to your secret recipe and ingredients scoring card.

At the start of each round, players draw 4–6 cards, with the number depending on the player count. Each turn, everyone selects one card and places it in their display. The chosen position and rotation are then locked, so arranging your cards carefully is a key part of maximizing your potion.

After choosing a card, players pass all remaining cards to the left and continue drafting. The process repeats until every card has been selected, creating a shared flow of choices in which the cards you keep—and the cards you pass on—both matter.

When the two rounds are complete, players count their brew points by referring to their secret scoring information. The player with the most points has created the most potent potion and wins.
