About this board game

Wits & Wagers Family is a family-friendly party game for 3–10 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Everyone answers the same question, compares the guesses, and uses Meeples to choose the answer they believe is closest.

Each round begins with a question from the deck. Players secretly write down their guesses, then place them face-up and arrange them from smallest to largest. Once the answers are ordered, everyone places their Meeples on a guess—including their own if they feel confident, another player’s if they trust that answer, or any option when they are unsure.

The game removes the gambling element from the original Wits & Wagers and uses questions suited to kids and the whole family. It is also designed to be simpler, with less downtime and greater portability. Most importantly, this edition features the beloved Meeple playing piece.

• A Small Meeple scores 1 point when placed correctly.
• A Large Meeple scores 2 points when placed correctly.
• The player whose guess is closest to the correct answer scores 1 point.

That means a player can score up to 4 points on each question by combining a strong guess with well-placed Meeples. The first player to reach 15 points wins.

The box includes 125 question cards, five dry-erase boards, five dry-erase pens, a permanent answer board, five Large Meeples, five Small Meeples, a dry-erase score board, and a full-color rules sheet. Released in 2010, Wits & Wagers Family offers an accessible way for the whole family to play, reason, and enjoy the results together.
