About this board game

Wits & Wagers Party is a simplified guessing and betting party game for 4-18 players, with a playing time of about 25 minutes. Released in 2012, it is designed as an accessible choice for non-gamer friends and family.

The game includes 250 questions from the out-of-print Wits & Wagers: Expansion Pack 1. These questions were selected because they are lighter and more fun than those in the original Wits & Wagers, making this edition especially suitable for casual group play.

Every question invites players to make an estimate rather than simply recall a fact. Once everyone has written down a guess, the answers are revealed and arranged from smallest to largest. Players then use their Betting Tokens to choose the guess they believe is closest to the correct answer.

1. Someone reads a question.
2. Everyone writes down a guess.
3. The guesses are placed face up and ordered from smallest to largest.
4. Players place their Betting Tokens on the guess they think is closest.

Players score one poker chip for a correct bet or for having the closest guess. On the seventh and final question, players can bet their poker chips, creating a final opportunity to change the standings.

The player with the most poker chips after the final question wins. In this edition, the poker chips are twice as heavy and thick as those from the original Wits & Wagers. With its lighter question set and straightforward betting system, Wits & Wagers Party brings estimation, luck, and group discussion together in a compact party-game format.
