Worm Up! is a fun, goofy game for 3–5 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Each player controls a worm made from several discs lined up in a row.

Every turn, players secretly choose a number on their dice to show how far they want to move. The choices are then revealed simultaneously, creating a tense moment as everyone discovers who selected the same number.

• Choose movement secretly on your die.
• Matching choices cancel those players’ movement for the turn.
• Unmatched choices let players move their worms by the selected amount.

When a player’s choice is unique, their worm moves by taking the appropriate number of discs from the back of the line and adding them to the front. This simple movement system changes the shape and position of each worm as the game progresses.

Worms can sometimes curve a bit while moving, giving players an opportunity to attempt to cut off other worms’ movement. Since matching numbers cause players to lose their movement, every secret choice combines planning with the risk of making the same decision as someone else.

With its simultaneous dice choices and distinctive disc-based worms, Worm Up! offers a compact tabletop experience built around timing, movement, and playful interaction. Released in 1994, it brings an entertainingly unusual theme to a quick game for small groups.
