About this board game

Wriggle Roulette is a 20-minute push-your-luck game for 2–8 players, released in 2025. Players take turns reaching into a bag filled with eel- and snake-shaped wooden pieces, trying to collect as many eels as possible.

Every grab brings the chance of a bigger reward, but it also adds to the shared danger. If the total number of snakes grabbed by all players exceeds the limit, a snake outbreak occurs. The player who grabbed the most pieces then loses all of their eels.

That creates a tense balance between ambition and restraint. You want to grab more than everyone else to score big, yet pushing your luck too far can make a successful turn collapse. Should you reach in for a bunch, take just a few, or back out entirely?

• Push your luck: Decide how much to grab while weighing the possible reward against the danger.
• Watch the table: Read your opponents’ expressions for clues about their plans and confidence.
• Control your greed: Choose when to pursue more eels and when to stop before the outbreak threshold is exceeded.

Because the danger is shared across all players, every turn can change the risk for everyone else. A cautious choice may protect your eels, while a bold grab could put you ahead—or make you the player with the most pieces when disaster strikes.

With its simple central decision and lively psychological tension, Wriggle Roulette challenges players to judge both the contents of the bag and the people around the table.
