About this board game

Wunderland is a board game for 2–4 players with a playing time of about 60 minutes, set among the miniature landscapes of Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany.

Players travel across the board with their game pieces, moving through miniature versions of destinations ranging from Scandinavia to the U.S., and from the coast to the high mountains. The setting reflects the real-world theme park’s miniature reproductions of places including Austria, Switzerland, Hamburg, and other regions.

Each player receives destination cards showing locations to reach. To score the points listed on a card, a player must get their pieces to all the locations shown on that destination. Completing these destinations is the central way to build a score while exploring the board’s varied landscapes.

Every area also includes a location where players can collect postcards. These postcards provide additional points at the end of the game, giving players another scoring opportunity as they travel around the miniature world.

Inspired by a miniature world featuring more than 1,300 square meters of scenery and over 13,000 meters of railroad track, Wunderland brings the distinctive atmosphere of Miniatur Wunderland to the tabletop. Whoever has the most points after destination and postcard scoring wins.
