About this expansion
Yedo: Sakoku is a mini-expansion for the Yedo base game, designed for 2–5 players with a listed play time of 150 minutes.
This compact addition introduces a thematic event card that is shuffled into the base game’s other event cards. Its appearance creates a sudden and lasting change on the board, giving the event deck a distinct new moment to discover.
When the Sakoku card is revealed, the church burns down. Place the included burned-down church tile over the church to mark what has happened and make the change visible during the remainder of play.

From the moment the card is revealed, players can no longer gain Mon from the church. This straightforward rule change gives the event a clear gameplay consequence while keeping the expansion closely connected to the existing Yedo experience.
Yedo: Sakoku is intended for use with the Yedo base game. Shuffle its event card together with the other event cards, then let the reveal of Sakoku transform the church and alter how players interact with it.
