About this board game

Yomi: Round 2 is a card-based fighting game for 1–4 players, with matches designed to take about 20 minutes. It replaces physical dexterity with hand management skills, asking you to know your character, understand the matchup, and read your opponent.

Each character has a deck built around familiar playing-card conventions. Numbered cards are normal moves, face cards are special moves, and aces are super moves, making each deck’s contents easy to learn while giving every fighter a distinct way to compete.

This standalone second-edition set includes four character decks from a larger roster of twenty. Choose a fighter for 1v1, 2v2, 2v1, or solo play; every player in a game needs one character deck.

  • Quince: a challenging, tricky politician who can sometimes play two cards in combat and spin a combat card around after seeing the opponent’s play.
  • Onimaru: an easy-to-understand fighter whose attacks can beat any other attacks, with powerful single hits and the ability to guard crush through a block.
  • Bal-Bas-Beta: a very difficult-to-understand robot who can put opponents at long range, play safely for low damage, then shift to high-damage plays.
  • Troq: an easy-to-understand, simple, powerful fighter built around smashing and throwing.

The character decks in Yomi: Round 2 can also face decks from Yomi: Round 1 or any individual character decks from the second edition. The result is a compact fighting-game experience focused on card choices, character knowledge, and anticipating the opponent.
