About this board game

Zoo Run is a 20-minute card game for 1–5 players, offering cooperative play for ages 4 and up and competitive play for ages 6 and up.

It includes two games in one. In cooperative mode, players line up cards to form animals and help them escape. In competitive mode, players compete to win the race of the year.

The central challenge is finding the strongest combination of cards. Each card shows three animal bottoms on the left and three animal heads on the right. The featured animals are the llama, panda, turtle, elephant, and lynx.

  • Place your cards face up on the table.
  • Look for heads and bottoms that match.
  • Complete as many animals as possible with the available cards.

There is always at least one solution, but the aim is to discover the best solution rather than simply any solution. Players must examine the cards and identify how they can be combined to complete matching animals.

With its accessible cooperative mode and more competitive race mode, Zoo Run offers different ways to approach the same matching-card challenge. Younger players can work together from age four, while players aged six and up can take on the competitive version.

Released in 2019, Zoo Run focuses on visual matching, combination-building, and completing animals from the cards in play. Whether the goal is to help the animals escape or to win the race, the key is spotting the most effective arrangement.
