About this board game

EVE: War for New Eden is a 2–4 player board game with an approximately 180-minute play time, set in the universe of EVE Online. In this grand contest of cosmic expansion, factions compete to build empires and reach the Verge of Ascendancy.

Each player begins with a chosen faction, limited territory, spaceships, and resources. From this starting position, develop your faction, expand your empire, build your economy, and take control of increasingly greater possibilities across New Eden.

Victory depends on more than direct confrontation. Use diplomacy, deception, and warfare as you engage rival factions in a game of cosmic chess. Epic spaceships and spectacular battles are part of the struggle as each empire pursues its own path to dominance.

• Choose a faction and begin with limited territory, spaceships, and resources.
• Expand your empire and build your economy.
• Use diplomacy, deception, and direct warfare against your rivals.
• Acquire 10 Victory Points to reach the Verge of Ascendancy.

Reaching 10 Victory Points does not immediately end the struggle. Once a player reaches the Verge of Ascendancy, the game enters a ruthless final round, where the leading empire must endure one last test to emerge victorious.
