The Fog: Escape from Paradise is a board game for 1–4 players, with an approximate play time of 75 minutes, in which mystical guardians help islanders escape an isolated island before a rapidly approaching, life-threatening fog reaches the shore.

Panicked islanders must find their way to the boats, but getting them there requires careful guidance and coordination. Each player uses point allocation to direct their self-drafted islanders through a changing escape effort, aiming to help them reach safety before time runs out.

During the game, points let players perform a range of actions that shape the islanders’ paths. These movement options include:

• Running toward escape
• Swapping positions
• Pushing and squeezing through crowded routes
• Crossing paths
• Jumping toward the boats

The approaching FOG creates the central deadline. Once it reaches the shore, the boats depart, and every player receives or loses points across several categories. The final scoring determines which guardian has done the most to aid the islanders.

The Fog: Escape from Paradise combines path guidance, point allocation, and competitive scoring in a race against an advancing threat. Players must decide how best to spend their available points while coordinating the movement of their selected islanders and pursuing the strongest final result.
