About this board game

Might & Magic Heroes: The Board Game is a strategy game for 2–4 players that takes about 180 minutes, inviting players to compete for control of the realms of Ashan.

Each player leads one of four different factions. The game begins with a single hero, a small army, and a city, but the realm develops with every passing round. Heroes gain experience and grow in power, armies become more numerous, and small towns expand into enormous capitals.

Players strengthen their factions by exploring the board and pursuing several paths to greater influence:

• Recruit new characters to expand their leadership.
• Take control of mines that produce resources and gold.
• Defeat monsters prowling across the game board.
• Search for powerful magical artifacts.

As the game progresses, growing armies, experienced heroes, and increasingly imposing capitals bring the factions toward a final confrontation between great magical kingdoms. Every development contributes to the contest for power and the future of Ashan.

Victory goes to the player whose faction is the best developed, with many heroes, multiple armies, and a large capital. In Might & Magic Heroes, the player who acquires the most power becomes the new heir and supreme ruler of the realm.
