About this board game

Walking in Provence is a scenic board game for 2–5 players, with games lasting around 30 minutes. Set in southeastern France, it invites players to capture the breathtaking landscapes of Provence through a series of photos.

Every summer, Provence’s vast lavender fields bloom into a vibrant sea of purple across the fertile green countryside. Golden wheat, brilliant yellow sunflowers, and the blue sky complete this picturesque setting, creating a colorful backdrop for the game.

To begin, place the Scene Cards, then move the Photographer and Drone in order to take different photos during the game. The photos you capture and the various scenes you create will both contribute to your score.

With its focus on photography and Provence’s distinctive scenery, Walking in Provence offers a visually themed experience built around arranging scenes and capturing memorable views. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Walking in Provence is the second game in the Walking in series. It brings entirely new ideas and mechanisms while retaining the same experience as the first design, Walking in Burano. Released in 2019, it provides a colorful tabletop journey through one of the world’s most picturesque regions.
