About this board game

Crazy Circus is a simultaneous puzzle-solving game for 1–10 players, with each play taking about 20 minutes.

Three animals begin arranged across two platforms, while a target card shows the configuration you need to create. All players race to determine the correct sequence of commands that will transform the current arrangement into the target.

Commands describe specific animal movements. For example, “Ma” moves the bottom animal on one platform to the top, while “Ni” swaps the top two animals on the two platforms. The challenge is not only working out the solution, but also saying it correctly and quickly.

• Rearrange three animals on two platforms.
• Use commands such as “Ma” and “Ni” to change their positions.
• Race to call out multi-syllable solutions, including “MaNiKi” or “LoNiMaSo”.
• Win the target card for being first to give the correct command.

Each successful solution earns the target card, creating a lively contest of recognition, sequencing, and speed. Because the puzzle is solved simultaneously, players compete to spot the answer and claim it before anyone else.

Released in 2002, Crazy Circus turns a simple animal arrangement into an energetic race of spoken commands. Continue winning target cards throughout the game; when the contest ends, the player with the most cards wins.
