About this board game

Trophies is a quick, easy-to-learn party game for 2–30 players that takes about 15 minutes to play.

One player acts as the judge and holds the deck. The judge reads a topic from the back card, then reveals a random letter on the front card. Everyone races to be the first to say a word that matches both the topic and the letter.

The player who gives the first valid answer wins a trophy card. Keep collecting trophies as the game continues, because the player with the most trophy cards wins. The victor also gets to hoist the tiny metal trophy high above their head in triumph.

Released in 2019, Trophies is the first game in Facade Games’ “Games for Thursdays” line of party games. It is suited to evenings when there is not much time for setup or play, but there is plenty of room for quick thinking, shouted answers, and trophy-winning glory.
