About this board game

Soulgivers is a strategic board game for 2–4 players, with 1vs1 and 2vs2 play and an approximate 60-minute playing time. Two populations battle across the remains of an ancient planet to capture the Fragment and carry it to one of their two Portals.

The Fragment is the only cure for Decay, a cosmic disease threatening both civilizations. Shells and Specters each field a party of 10 characters, with every character defined by particular Abilities and/or an Aura. Players face one another by playing three characters at a time, creating a focused contest of positioning, powers, and tactical choices.

The conflict goes beyond ordinary attacks. Warring creatures can control the field, manipulate the elements, and bend the enemy’s will as they fight for the chance to return the Fragment to their dying planet. Reaching your Portal is the decisive objective, but getting there requires choosing the right combination of characters and abilities.

Soulgivers gets its name from its distinctive fallen-hero mechanic. When a hero dies, they leave a Soul imbued with their abilities on the battlefield. Teammates can absorb that Soul, gaining added abilities and turning defeat into a new strategic opportunity.

Only the most effective combination of Soulgivers and Souls can deliver the Fragment to safety. Balance your population’s survival against the rival’s advance and race to save your world from extinction.
