About this board game

Dark Tomb: The Crypts of Aurelian is an ultra-portable tabletop dungeon crawler for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 50 minutes. Lead a group of uniquely skilled characters into the ancient tomb beneath the city of Gorriah.

The tomb is divided into three chambers, each more dangerous and chilling than the last. Characters work collaboratively as they explore tiles, collect useful items, and battle the monsters hidden within the crypt.

On every turn, characters can choose from a variety of actions. They may move, launch attacks, use other abilities, or make use of items encountered during their exploration. Careful teamwork is essential as the party works to uncover each chamber and survive its threats.

A chamber is conquered only when the party has fully explored it and defeated all its monsters. If the group fails, it can recoup and try again before continuing the quest.

Because the chamber tiles, monsters, and items are randomized, every play-through offers a different adventure. Dark Tomb delivers a compact dungeon-crawling experience where exploration, combat, and cooperation come together in a journey through the crypts of Aurelian.
