About this board game

Wat’n dat!?, also known as Kiproko, is a word-guessing game for 3–8 players with an approximately 60-minute play time.

Forget pencils, paper, and spoken clues. In Wat’n dat!?, players have only a few glass beads and sticks available to create words for their teammates to interpret. You cannot draw, speak, or make gestures, so every arrangement must communicate its idea through the materials alone.

The game puts players under the pressure of a timer. Your task is to create as many words as possible while your teammates try to guess what you have made. Each successful guess helps your team score points, turning every round into a race against the clock.

  • Guess words without using a pencil or other drawing material
  • Use glass beads and sticks to create your word clues
  • Communicate without speaking or making gestures
  • Work with teammates to guess and score points

The simple materials create a distinctive challenge: players must find inventive ways to represent words while staying within the game’s strict communication limits. Teammates, meanwhile, must examine each creation and work out the intended answer before the timer pressure takes over.

Released in 1996, Wat’n dat!? offers a focused test of creativity, interpretation, and teamwork. If you enjoy guessing games with an unusual twist, this game replaces conventional drawing or verbal clues with a handful of tactile components and a clear team objective: create words, get them guessed, and score points.
